Guitarist/composer/producer Askold Buk has scored numerous episodes of the PBS documentary series Frontline (including the 2006 Emmy award-winning The Storm), as well as 20/20 (ABC), Primetime (ABC) and In Search of America (ABC). He wrote and produced the score to the documentary feature film Obscene, which premiered at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival. He co-wrote the theme song to the Daytime Emmy-nominated soap opera web series Beacon Hill, and his songs have been featured on The Young and the Restless (CBS), The Mysteries of Laura (NBC), Z Nation (SyFy), The Hills (MTV), P.O.V. (PBS), and in spots for ING Bank, Entenmann’s and Red Wing Shoes. Askold also wrote and produced the music for the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum website commemorating the 50th anniversary of JFK’s inauguration.
